Course Overview
In this course, Dr. Douglas Groothuis, professor of philosophy, will give a comprehensive introduction to Christian apologetics. He will discuss the nature of apologetics, how to defend objective truth, the nature of the Christian worldview, the arguments for God’s existence, and some objections to the Christian faith such as the problem of evil. This course is made up of five lessons:
Lesson 1: What is Apologetics
Lesson 2: Arguments from Design
Lesson 3: Moral Argument
Lesson 4: Identity of Jesus
Lesson 5: Christianity and Other Religions
You may work through each lesson at your own pace, completing them all in an afternoon, or space them over the next five weeks. The left-hand navigation tray will display the elements of each lesson acting as a table of contents. As you progress through the course it will strikethrough and gray out completed elements to help track course progress.
