Course Overview

In this course, Dr. Angie Ward, Assistant Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program, will lead you through lessons that are aimed at discovering and developing your God-given calling. Dr. Ward will introduce different ways we can define “calling,” how individuals can move through a process of discerning what God is calling them to do with their lives, and how this can be lived out practically and faithfully. This course is made up of four lessons:

·      Lesson 1: Introduction and Definitions
·      Lesson 2: The Calling Process: Part 1
·      Lesson 3: The Calling Process: Part 2
·      Lesson 4: Living Out Your Calling

You may work through each lesson at your own pace, completing them all in an afternoon, or space them over the next four weeks. The left-hand navigation tray will display the elements of each lesson acting as a table of contents.  As you progress through the course it will strikethrough and gray out completed elements to help track course progress.

Putting It Into Practice

Following each video, there are discussion questions that we invite you to reflect on to help apply the content of these lessons. You may choose to write out your responses or utilize these as a tool in group discussions or Bible studies.
